My name is Will (who would have guessed), I was born and raised in the UK and via a stop in France have found my home in the north of Spain. And oh yeh, I quite like wine..

I found my love for wine after moving to Barcelona, a city surrounded by fabulous vineyards with a rich wine culture. Over the past few years I have visited over 35 vineyards in France, Greece, Spain, Italy and Georgia, including following the history of the drink to its very origins in Kakheti. This interest has spiraled into study as I have now completed my WSET Level 1 qualification. Level 2 is coming as soon as I can stop spending all my money on delicious wine so that I can pay for the course!

In my first job, I was working admin for a spirits tasting company but was quickly trained to present the sessions and right away consistently outscored the professionals in post session feedback. I truly believe it was because I was stripping away the b*****t and presenting information in a fun and enjoyable way to make the spirits world accessible.

I am now bringing this to the Wine world, my knowledge is deep and growing all the time and I´m excited to share it whilst exploring new approaches and formats to spice up and keep the wine tasting interesting.

Through my early events I have found many people who want to contribute and follow their passions too, my early public events will be catered by Ola, who has a deep passion for hospitality and catering. I am truly looking forward to seeing what she has to offer us. Many have also offered their services in photography, so I´m sure any Willyouwinewithme event will have lots of instagrammable moments captured ably by these guys.

I look forward to seeing you at an event really soon for some lovely wine, tasty tapas and generally a bit of a laugh.
